OUTLINE

Our Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time; please ensure that you familiarise yourself with our latest terms and conditions which can be found on our website www.ardvreckhouse.com


CANCELLATIONS

Private reservations may be cancelled free of charge until 14 days before arrival, guests (or booking agents) will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival - moving a reservation to new dates in the 14 days before arrival will not be accepted. Charges will be taken directly from the payment card held on file (alternative methods can be used if confirmed with us before such time that payment has already been taken).


GROUP BOOKINGS

Companies and individuals block booking rooms (that is three or more rooms) are required to pay a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking and if necessary must cancel the rooms no later than 57 days prior to arrival date. If a room is cancelled within 8 weeks of arrival date we shall endeavour to resell the rooms and issue a refund if able to do so (up to 14 days before arrival date, after which time no further attempt to resell the rooms will be made). Payment for all group bookings must be made no later than 8 weeks prior to anticipated arrival date. The terms applicable to company bookings apply unless alternative terms and conditions have been agreed, for which separate correspondence will be held on file.


ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

You are welcome to arrive at any time after 2pm - arrival at the house may be contactless, involving a self check-in. We are readily available should you have any queries or require assistance; please use the telephone number provided at reception to contact us by telephone, text or WhatsApp. We ask that all rooms are vacated by 10am at the end of your stay.


AGE POLICY

Guests must be aged 18 or over at the time of their stay; you may be asked to provide identification in order to verify your age. Any guests found to be under the age of 18 will be asked to leave immediately and charged in full for their reservation.


IDENTIFICATION

Photo identification is required for all guests.


HONESTY BAR

An honesty bar is available for use only by guests staying with us - please drink responsibly. Only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises.


PAYMENT

All bookings must be paid in full in advance of your arrival - separate payment terms apply to group bookings (see GROUP BOOKINGS). Payment will be taken automatically from the payment card held on file within the 14 days leading up to your arrival; if your bank indicates that you must pass Strong Customer Authentication you will receive a Payment Link via e-mail (or via the messaging platform of the third party with which you placed your reservation) - this must be completed before your arrival. If you wish to change your payment method you must let us know at least three weeks ahead of your arrival date.


DOGS (and other animals)

We do not allow animals of any kind to stay at Ardvreck House; any person found to be housing an animal within Ardvreck House will incur additional charges at our discretion and be asked to leave immediately.


BREAKFAST

We serve a buffet breakfast in the dining room between 8am and 9am (should you wish to have an earlier breakfast please ask as we may be able to accommodate your request). Guests visiting us during quieter periods may be asked to provide a breakfast time and complete a pre-order form the day before. It is important that you make us aware of any food allergies at least two weeks ahead of your arrival date. Please refer to 'Winter Bookings' for information regarding breakfast for your stay between late October and early April.


CAR PARKING

A private car park is available for guests use; please note that any cars parked here are done so at the owner's risk.


DAMAGES

Please look after our home. You are responsible for any breakages and damages caused during your stay. We understand that accidents do happen and ask that you report them straight away, we are far more likely to be able to rectify the problem if we are aware sooner rather than later.


KEYS

Lost keys will be charged at £30.00 per set.


TERMINATION POLICY

We reserve the right to terminate, without notice, an individual's stay where we deem necessary; payment may be taken in full in such circumstances where the individual or group are asked to leave.


WINTER BOOKINGS

Any bookings whereby your stay with us is between late October and early April are considered winter bookings and may involve a contactless visit with a breakfast tray provided. We are readily available should you have any queries or require assistance; please use the telephone number provided at reception to contact us by telephone, text or WhatsApp.


COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Latest government guidelines and procedures are to be adhered to at all times; processes and procedures may change regularly. Please note that if we are unable to honour your reservation owing to a lockdown in our local area that prohibits us from running or the need for us to self-isolate there will be no cancellation charges associated with your reservation; we will not accept responsibility for any change in your travel plans based on a lockdown in your local area, the need for you to self-isolate or any other reason relating to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We strongly recommend taking out the correct travel insurance to cover you for any such occurrences.
